





Since I worked at a small amusement park in High School, I've always had a fond spot for rides and the people working on them. Last week, we ventured to Coney Island, this week it's Seaside Heights, NJ (see part 1).
The last two photos show the range of rides that the warning signs apply to. The first sign is for a little kiddie ride which goes in a 10 ft circle. The second is from the "slingshot", where two people are strapped into a cage, a lot of large springs are compressed and then released. They go shooting into the air to bounce around a bit.
For some reason, Casino Pier's website, doesn't have any information on the Slingshot. They do have pictures of the water park across the street though. Wow, that's pretty cool looking with one of the largest waterslides I've ever seen. Maybe we'll have to go back during the day.

i have had the oppurtunity to live in seaside
for a grip of time over on "o" street in a great
home i now live in socal it was just great
checking out your photos kinda took me there
to many great memories i raised up some children
there we had great times mahalo
