Motion Sculpture

motionsculpture-1.jpg

This is about from July 2nd. Several of us went to the Met's roof top bar to enjoy a beautiful summer evening. Unfortunately it rained about 45 minutes after we got there, but even that was gorgeous, at least until the lightning came a bit later.

On the way in, this woman in the red dress really stopped the foot traffic. A little googling shows that this was Claire Elizabeth Barratt, one of the founders of Cilla Vee. Her specialty is Motion Sculpture.

My name is Steven Maginnis, and I am a freelance article writer. I first saw Claire Elizabeth Barratt in July 2004 in front of the Met as well, only she was wearing a black dress. I met Ms. Barratt after her performance was over, and I proposed writing about her; she agreed. I've recently finished my article on Ms. Barratt, and I am in the process of trying to get it published. When - not if, WHEN - I do, you're sure to hear more about the lovely and talented Ms. Barratt afterwards! :-)
