Open House NY: Jefferson Library

jeffersonlibrary-1.JPG

Last year, we went to the first Open House NY thanks to Gothamist. This year, we kept our eye open for it and instead of wandering to our first spot at 3pm, we got out a lot earlier.

I knew the Jefferson Library was popular last year, so I figured if I got there around 12:40 for a 1pm start time I'd be ok. Yikes, we waited on line for an hour. But, we met a nice new person who lives in our neighborhood and we met a ceWEBrity friend of Rachelle's.

The climb was worth it. This is the spider they drop from the tower every halloween parade.

Check out this guys View Camera. I'd love to see what his images look like. I gave him my card, so hopefully we can get a web link at some point.
