Argentina: Botanical Garden and Artist

botanical-1.JPG

In Palermo, there's a botanical garden, open to the public free of charge. It's a nice oasis from the city, with lots of shady places and gentle walks. Oh, and cats everywhere.

What we found inside the main greenhouse was unexpected though. A visiting artist had paired her work with the orchids and other botanicals that were being grown. I think the two complement each other wonderfully. For example, don't you think the third image is much more powerful when shown in context? Do you agree?

That's the artist in the last photo. I have to find the paper with her name on it though. Update: Her name is Cecilia Cambas. Here's a press release (in Spanish) which explains the work.
