Restaurant reading

We live in what is often referred to as the culinary center of the universe, New York City. If it's made anywhere in the world, you can find it here.

Every so often, one comes across the stories behind the food. Anthony Bourdain's Kitchen Confidential certainly sets the bar high for followers such as Rocco.

Today though, I came across a blog by someone who works in a Chelsea restaurant as either a manager or a head waiter. The little details ring true. More importantly, the author is gut bustingly funny without being too crude (though there are some moments). I haven't cried while laughing in quite a while and somehow fell prey to it several times today.

It's that amusing. Go read it: Waiter Rant
