This is condensed moisture from the air due to the -150 c air below and the even colder liquid nitrogen at the bottom of the tank. This is a cryogenic vat, used to preserve tissue samples at the American Museum of Natural History. Read more about it in the post this photo came from: AMNH: Cold Storage
