Alloway Creek Watershed

allowaycreek-1.jpg

Past Hancocks Bridge, winding down roads which aren't really on the map, you eventually find the Alloway Creek. Amazing expanses of marsh and land. We only saw one other person out here.

As we walked along the dike, we couldn't help but appreciate how far away from the city we were. Except for those power lines.

All joking aside, it was really peaceful and quiet out there. We occasionally saw a freighter go by on the Delaware River, but the only thing we heard was the wind and bird songs.
