Hells Kitchen Flea Market

hk-market-1.jpg

I was skating up 10th when I saw the new Hells Kitchen Flea market. I knew it had moved over here from 6th Ave, but I didn't realize Saturday was the first day.

The Police Officer explained that the crowd was pretty much the same the whole time he was there. Since they had to close the street, the police have to provide security.

As I was skating through the stalls, one vendor yelled out to the other vendor "I did about the same amount of business last week at the old place, but the crowd was better there.". Today, I looked over from a cab ride and saw the market was PACKED. So, hopefully it works out there.
