Likewise, Steven! Drop me a line at "elsathelion at hotmail.com" and I'll be sure to give you a heads up about the next pillow-fight-esque event that I hear of (if you promise to do the same)...

I don't know...A part of me wishes I could've been there. But another part of me suspects some major head pounding was happening. Ouch.
(Imagine what aliens might think if they saw humans pillow-fighting! Hee-hee!)

I can't think when I've seen more maniacal looks of fun on people than this day. People were surprisingly respectful, I saw one guy carefully bopping a small child for example, while in other places the pillows were swinging but everyone was laughing. The pictures dont show how the crowd was constantly swirling. If you liked the people you were next to, you stayed for a while. If you didn't, you moved on.
The other thing that happened is that when people had enough, they drifted to the edges and gave their pillows to someone else. You could actually see the crowd re-energize every 5-10 minutes due to this. I couldn't believe people were still going 45 minutes later until I realized there was a ring of former contenders around the outside of the crowd.
It was all great fun, but I think Video would have been better in some ways.

And before the war in Iraq, when you were going about your daily life, people were dying in other parts of the world. What's your point? Every time someone smiles, are you going to chastise them because somewhere in the world someone is suffering?
Please.

I mostly decided to ignore the "Socialist" troll, figuring he was looking for a fight. For some reason, this post became REALLY popular in Russia around the time of his post.
