Oscars 2005

Usually I make sure I've seen most of the Oscar contenders in a given year, but between work and other stuff, it just didn't seem to happen in 2006. We were able to see Good Night, Walk the Line, and Munich. We tried to see Capote twice, sold out each time.

I went to high school with one of the winners, I won't say who, but it was interesting to see them truly be overwhelmed and compare to how I remember them from years ago.

Luckily, several of the films are either out on dvd already or will be in the next week or two. It's always good to load up on films for the long flights coming up.
