Ahh, too bad, Big Nicks on Broadway had a water pipe break or something. The look like they're cleaning like crazy in there.

Even with the recent spate of closings, this place is not really a huge surprise to wind up on the list. 15 years ago, I was in this place with a crowd of people when I had the unique pleasure of participating in one of life's unusual little dilemmas.
"If you see a cockroach on the wall next to your friend's head, should you tell her, or should you distract her and try to scare it away?"
I'll let you guess which course of action I took. I'll say that while I was considering it, my entire side of the table got really really quiet watching it move around and almost fall on her head.
